About Us
Do something fun. Meet someone new.
Serendipity is simply random chance that plays in your favor. It's when you bump into someone new who is reading the same book, enjoying your favorite wine, or listening to the band you love.
A little over a year ago, a group of friends in Seattle decided that these chance encounters don't need to be so random or infrequent. They created Urbandipity, a website that enables you to find serendipity more often.
Urbandipity lets you quickly represent what you're about and meet people who like what you like. Simply create a post, tag your interests, and spark new connections. It's free and no account is necessary!

Ryan O'Donnell Ryan is the jack-of-all-trades at Urbandipity: he works on the creative vision, product management, engineering, and makes sure there's always plenty of chips and salsa on hand. He graduated from Cornell University in 2008 with a concentration in biomedical engineering and computer science. Ryan splits his time between Seattle and Beijing while working on Urbandipity. |

Dustin Conrad Dustin is a software engineer for Urbandipity and works on integrating the frontend and backend together while also serving as a sounding board for Zach and Emmett. He graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelors degree in CS. Implementing the innovative ideas we have at Urbandipity helps him get his coding fix in, but of course it can never really be fully satisified. |
